I feel very blessed the 34th Bosque Art Classic in Clifton, Texas has accepted these 4 paintings into their great show running Sept.15-28, 2019. "Best Friends"12x19 Pastel, "Follow Momma" 11x14 Oil, "Older & Wiser" 11x14 Oil, and "The Bay" 14x18 Oil. The Book and Art Show -Artster Oklahoma

Sarah Harless will have work shown at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and her work will be published in a book called Artster Oklahoma.

Artster is a collaborative project showcasing artists in Oklahoma. Copies will soon be available in the Museum Store at the Gaylord/Pickens Museum/Oklahoma Hall of Fame in OKC, also possibly online. Sarah will be honored, along with the other artists in the book, on Thursday, Feb 21, at the Museum.

The term Artster refers to an individual who chooses a culturally rich lifestyle and maintains a great admiration for various forms of art. Informed and typically altruistic by nature, this individual believes in the power of creative appreciation and collaboration as a means to benefit humanity.

Artwork will be on exhibit from February 21- May 18, 2019 in the Tulsa World | Lorton Family gallery located on the third floor of the Gaylord-Pickens Museum, home of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. Pick up your copy of the book Artster Oklahoma in the Museum Store.

Soon to be exhibited at the Bosque Art Classic in Clifton, Texas.

On September 8, the 33rd Annual Bosque Art Classic will open its doors with a special sale, dinner, and awards ceremony at 7 p.m. The national art exhibition and sale renowned for its quality will showcase the work of both veteran artists and some talented newcomers to the show, with 175 pieces from over 100 artists.

Cowboy Artists of America member Jason Rich served as judge this year.

The show and sale, sponsored by the BAC Art Council, awards $15,500 in prizes, including the $5,000 John Steven Jones Purchase Award

America’s Horse in Art returns to the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum in Amarillo and celebrates the event’s 11-year anniversary. The exhibit includes a list of more than 40 world-renowned Western artists providing pieces for the 11th annual art show and sale. Mark your calendar now for the show’s opening on August 18 or plan a trip to view this year’s exhibit before it closes October 13.

Bosque Art Classic

The Bosque Art Classic is an annual juried & judged art show & sale hosted by the BAC Art Council. Over the years, it has become a national show which includes entries from international artists as well. The show is currently in its 32nd year. It is open to all artists who create realistic/representational art.

* Purchase awarded art becomes a part of the Bosque Arts Center's Permanent Collection. This collection is displayed throughout the year for the public to enjoy for free. A catalog of the Permanent Collection is available at the gallery.
